The SAYFGLIDA® Lifeline system offers the ultimate in safety protection wilst leaving total freedom to undertake the job required. The user remains permanently attached over the complete working distance allowing hands free to deal with the necessary work.
Competitively priced compared to structural guard rails, the system also provides the benefit that it is virtually invisible leaving the design lines of the building or structure unspoilt.
Providing the highest specification
The SAYFGLIDA® Lifeline cable is constructed from 8 or 12 mm stainless steel. The support brackets (including corner brackets for use on corners and returns) are designed to swivel and deform, dissipating fall generated energy to minimise shock loadings on the user.
The unique Sayflink glides over the support brackets with the user attached by harness lanyard at all time.
For systems where the structure´s profile requires the cable to change direction there are specially designed corner units comprising brackets and stainless guide tubing. Designed as a three piece construction these Corner Units have the flexibility to suit most applications.
The End Unit Tensioners come in two specifications dependent upon whether the system requires tensioning at entry / exit positions (toggle / toggle) or non entry / exit positions (toggle / swage)
Entry / Exit units are manufactured from 316/431 stainless steel with a rolled swage for attachment to the cable lifeline producing a tensile strength in excess of 100% of the cable strength.
The mid-span Entry and Exit Unit also incorporates a spring gate to prevent accidental detachment.
